Thank you Deena, the journey you take us on reveals so much about this moment that few are confronting. Seeing a genocide through the banality of evil and the anxieties of survival that have been conditioned into us takes attention. We have been conditioned to be tools of war, this fact is not new. Waking up to how each of us co-creates this violent war economy is not for the faint of heart, but there is only a future if we do. The current system is violent and murderous but ultimately it is suicidal. As you ask us what would you have done in the Holocaust? What ever we are doing right now is the answer. Speaking up and out and engaging is needed now more than ever. Bless you for your capacity to speak from the roots of humanity and life - Onward to peace for the people and the planet Jodie @CODEPINK

this is the ending of my own last poem, all too terribly apt:

"...Once, a zoo boasted an exhibit called

« the most dangerous animal in the world » :

it was a mirror.

No. No. Thank you. ...." with my heart breaking day after day...xxx, margo

Brave, bracing, and deeply insightful as you bring together yet see through the complexities that mire so many in doubt and argument. Thank you.

Deena, You have moved me to my core. Thank you, thank you. For saying the truth, for speaking out as you have done all your life, thank you for who you are and the light and inspiration you bring to me and to so many. Thank you for this probing piece, asking all of us what have we done, what are we doing. I am moved and changed. Blessings upon your heart -- Carolyn
